Polvo enamorado (Dust in love) is a playful walk through the theatre, poetry and music of the “Clásico Español” (Spanish classic literature). Especially from the Siglo de Oro (Golden Age), but with some works up to the nineteenth century. The selection of the repertoire – not academic, but totally subjective – includes theatrical fragments from Lope de Vega, El castigo sin venganza (Punishment without Revenge), Calderón de la Barca ·La Vida es sueño (Life is a Dream) or Zorrilla (Don Juan Tenorio). Fragments of Don Quixote and poems by Quevedo, Lope, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, San Juan de la Cruz or Santa Teresa de Jesús. The musical compositions are by Fernando Egozcue with exclusive arrangements for this show.
Eroticism, comedy, philosophical depth and beauty are the main elements in this literary and musical tour.
