Adriana Ozores (Madrid, 1959) has one of the most prolific and varied careers of the acting panorama of our country. Strictly associated with the National Theatre Company in the '80s and in '90s, during the Adolfo Marsillach phase, she gave voice to important characters of the illustrious authors of the Golden Age: Calderón de la Barca, Tirso de Molina, Juan Ruiz de Alarcón o Fernando de Rojas.
In her filmography – she shot more than forty movies – among which we remember ¿De qué se ríen las mujeres? (What do women laugh about?) by Joaquín Oristrell; El pájaro de la felicidad (The bird of happiness) by Pilar Miró; La hora de los valientes (The time of the braves) by Antonio Mercero; or Heroína (Heroine) by Gerardo Herrero. In television stands out her characters en tv series such as Gran Hotel, Manolito Gafotas, Velvet Colection o Periodistas.
Her theatrical career starts in 1982 under the direction of Ángel Fernández Montesinos with the french comedy of intrigues La señora presidenta (The President Lady). In the last few years we had the chance to see her in different leading roles in montages such as Sexos, Attchussss (Sexes, Attchussss) or La cantante calva (The bald soprano); even if the majority of her stage works were tied to the Golden Age under the umbrella of the National Theatre Company.
