Trovadoras del amor

Between the 13th and 16th centuries, in central Europe, a group of women decided to adopt a lifestyle based on mysticism and social commitment to the poorest. They are the Beguines. Free, brave women, silenced for centuries, who break with all established formalism. They defied all religious, political and social power. They were persecuted, some even died at the stake, for the folly of daring to be themselves and live in Love. This show is a tribute to all of them, and to all the beguines of our day. May their example enliven that inner flame in us, and impel us to be like them Troubadours Of Love.
